Licinius I, 308-324. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 4.02 g, 12 h), Rome, 313. IMP LICINIVS P F AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Licinius I to right. Rev. SOLI INV-I-CTO COMITI / R - F / [R T] Sol, nude but for chlamys, standing front, but slightly turned to right, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left. RIC -. Extremely rare. Struck slightly off center and with minor smoothing and areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.

This exceedingly rare coin shows Licinius I laureate and cuirassed on the obverse and Sol standing front on the reverse. Only two examples of this type are known, both from officina T and both in the Ramskold collection.
